Churachandpur, the 2nd of September, 2019
Whereas it appears to me on receiving a report from the Superintendent of Police, Churachandpur that there has been a prevailing law and order situation in the district and there is a possibility of occurrence of violent incidences leading to breach of public order and tranquility, especially in the Churachandpur town area.
Whereas, such violent activities are likely to cause obstruction, annoyance or injury to any persons and danger to human life, health or safety, a disturbance of the public tranquility, a riot or an affray.
Whereas, in my opinion there is sufficient ground for proceeding as immediate prevention and speedy remedy is desirable in the case.
Therefore, I Pawan Yadav JAS, District Magistrate, Churachandpur in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section 2 of section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. 1973 hereby issue prohibitory’ orders to be applicable in the town area of Churachandpur from 5 p.m. to 6 a.m. from 2nd September, 2019 until further orders, prohibiting assembly of five or more people, prohibiting carrying of any stick or sword which may cause harm or carrying of any firearms or other lethal weapons in the aforesaid areas.
